Dynamic Panel

This is a generic Panel object that enables the translation of complex geometry from Rhino-Grasshopper into Archicad as a parametric GDL object.

The main features of the object are:

• The ability to dynamically create panels based on a polygon of any number of nodes.
• The ability to bring colors into Archicad, internally inside the library part, without adding them to the project attributes.
• Detailed parametric settings that enable the control from Grasshopper and/or from Archicad.
• Model view options that allow the control of the level of detail based on view settings (very detailed to a simple plane display for better performance)
• High-quality 2D display settings.
• Pre-sets for automatic dimensioning and tags within Archicad Schedules.
• “Check-planarity” audit display.
• Dynamic panel layering creation (grasshopper-controlled composite structures).
• Panel and substructure controls
• GDL object uses Building materials
• The object is generic and will translate any planar geometry with attributes into Archicad.
